My philosophy is based on the idea that man need a rational morality not based on superstition. A rational morality not based on the arbitrary whimp of those in power. I live by and for a rational morality that can be demostrated through logic and by the belief that man’s mind is the most important thing on Earth.
Because humans have lost this rational morality on the way they behave and interact, we are now facing such a social, economical and political caos. I believe that even though humans are not either good or evil by nature; humans do are creating caos and becoming the wolf of themselves. Humans are now the homo homini lupus. And they are so, because the institutions and systems by which they live allow so.
Therefore, I would never sacrifice myself for others or for the institutions they created without the foundations of a rational morality.
This is what I repeat to myself every single time I listen to the news or hear a people start a conversation about philosophical ideals.
Today I was listening to Obama’s speech in Egypt to the Muslim World. I wanted to tell him that he was wrong about everthing! why? Because he’s irrational and inmoral; he’s willing to sacrifice virtue and offer it indiscriminately to those mystics that destroy human’s minds through oppresion and hate.
