Overheard in Youtube… quote from the CNN Republican Debate by McCain

I was listening to the CNN Republican Debate and got a very nice idea of what I could expect of US not going to win the government next year. Even though I support Ron Paul I found out he is still too weak and in a couple years he will be in the top of polls.

Well, getting to my point. This is the best quote of the Debate by John McCain on Vietnam:

john mccain mad

“We never lost a battle in Vietnam. It was American Public Opinion what forced us to lose that conflict”. John McCain

WOW! So, it was Americans and not the US Goverment who are guilty of losing the war in Vietnam?

Who is John McCain? Isn’t he supposed to be a US candidate that will represent American’s concerns and interests? What is the role of an American President but to follow the wishes of its Nation?

It seems he has forgotten what is the role of a government and how is it that a so-called Democracy is supposed to be ruled by citizens opinion in Congress (and by public opinion therefore).

I think he should be better talking to Queen Hillary since she will be more than happy to discuss with him about the establishment of a Monarchy in the US!
